Website Design for
Window Tint Companies.

Built by somebody who actually runs a window tint company. I’m Cody Becker, a second-generation contractor and owner-operator of Shore Tint & More / Delaware Window Film — the family window film business started in 1989. I build websites for tint shops because it’s the trade I work in every week.

01Why a tint operator builds differently

I’ve written the tint quote. I’ve lost it on price.

I know what happens when a customer calls asking for “the 20 percent” and has no idea whether that number has anything to do with heat. I know how fast a good ceramic quote turns into a comparison against a dyed install down the road.

I know the difference between selling a car full of glass and specifying safety film on a school, and I know they are not the same customer, the same objection or the same close. I’ve done estimating, film education, service-area planning, install scheduling and the follow-up call.

So when I lay out a tint website, I’m not guessing at what your customers ask. I’m building the answers I give in my own shop.

For clarity: the 370+ Google reviews we reference are on our family window film business, not on Second Gen Digital. We don’t claim endorsement, dealer status or partnership with any film manufacturer or shop software company.

02What generic agencies miss

Tint isn’t a service list. It’s a spec conversation.

Eight things that get missed by people who have never quoted a job in a bay or measured a west-facing wall of glass.

01

Automotive and architectural are two different businesses

A guy pricing a Civic and a facilities director specifying safety film on a school do not belong in the same funnel. Most agency sites dump both into one services page and both buyers bounce.

02

Film construction is the whole sale

Dyed, carbon, ceramic, spectrally selective — if the site never explains the difference, every quote gets compared to the cheapest dyed install in town.

03

VLT, heat rejection, UV and warranty need plain numbers

Shade percentage is not heat rejection. Customers conflate them constantly. Pages that separate the two settle the objection before the phone call.

04

State tint law is a real traffic asset

For an automotive shop, the legal-limit page is often the highest-traffic page on the site. Agencies outside the trade rarely build one, and when they do it's wrong.

05

Service areas are drive times, not a keyword list

A tint shop covers the towns it actually drives to, and mobile install changes the radius. That should shape the page structure, not a spun list of nearby cities.

06

Bay photos beat stock photos every time

Stock images of a black sedan tell a customer nothing. Your own installs, your own bay, your own glass — that's what proves the work.

07

Shop credibility is specific

Years in business, film lines you carry, warranty terms, lifts and bay setup, who actually does the install. Generic trust badges do none of that.

08

Quote forms should qualify

Vehicle year, make, model and how many windows for auto. Glass count, square footage, floor and goal for flat glass. One generic contact box wastes everyone's time.

Educated tint customers buy better film. The ones you lose to a cheap dyed install were never going to be your customer anyway.

What actually gets built.

Not every shop needs every piece. We scope it to the sides of the business you actually run, and the quote reflects that.

Modular service architecture

Separate top-level sections for automotive, residential, commercial, decorative and safety/security film, so each buyer gets their own path instead of one flattened menu.

Film and product comparison

Comparison content that puts dyed, carbon, ceramic and spectrally selective side by side in the customer's language, with the shade-versus-heat distinction spelled out.

Visualizer where it fits

A shade or before/after visualizer for automotive shops where it genuinely helps someone picture the result. We skip it when it would only slow the page down.

State tint law content

A legal-limit page for automotive shops covering VLT limits, windshield strips, medical exemptions and enforcement, written for the state you actually work in.

Residential, commercial and safety funnels

Separate qualification and CTAs for a homeowner with a hot west-facing room, a property manager with a glare complaint, and a school or facility asking about security film.

Local service-area architecture

Real service-area pages for the towns you drive to, structured around your radius and mobile-install coverage rather than duplicated doorway text.

Project spotlights, blog and AEO

Job write-ups with your own photography, plus question-shaped content that answers what customers type and what AI answer engines quote.

Quote forms with real scope

Vehicle details for auto work, glass count and square footage for flat glass, with photo upload so you can price without three phone calls.

CRM-ready handoff

Booking links and form embeds can be connected to the software you already run, including TintWiz. Deeper custom integrations depend on scope and what the platform allows.

Analytics and technical SEO

Schema, sitemap, metadata, internal linking, speed work and analytics wired at launch so you can see what's producing.

Digital Care and Google Growth

Ongoing hosting, updates and monitoring, with optional Google work if you want the local search side handled month to month.

04Three kinds of shop

Which side of the business are you feeding?

PPF and ceramic coating get built as adjacent services when you offer them — never as the thing the site is about.

Automotive tint shops

Ceramic and premium film education, state law content, vehicle-based quoting, bay photography and shade visualization. Built for the customer comparing your price against the strip-mall shop.

  • Film tier pages with heat rejection and VLT explained separately
  • State legal-limit guide as a search asset
  • Vehicle year/make/model quote flow
  • Optional PPF and ceramic coating pages as adjacent services

Architectural and flat-glass companies

Residential and commercial funnels that speak to homeowners, property managers, GCs and facility teams — heat, glare, privacy, decorative, safety and security.

  • Solution-first structure organized by the problem being solved
  • Vertical content for property management, healthcare, schools and government
  • Square-footage and glass-count quote capture
  • Bid and walkthrough request paths for spec-stage buyers

Full-service shops doing both

One brand, two clean paths. Automotive and architectural stay separated in navigation and content so neither buyer has to read past the other's material.

  • Split navigation from the first click
  • Shared brand and proof, separate funnels
  • Distinct quote forms per side of the business
  • Service areas mapped to each side's real radius

07How we work together

Same three services. Scoped for a tint shop.

08Tint website questions

What tint shop owners ask before they start.

What does a window tint company website cost?

Every build is custom quoted, because a single-bay auto shop and a full-service architectural company are not the same project. Website Launch is a one-time custom quote, Digital Care is a separate required $100/month for hosting, updates and monitoring, and Google Growth is optional at $350/month. You'll get the number before anything starts.

Can automotive and flat glass live on the same website?

Yes, and they should when you do both — but they need clean separation. We split navigation, content and quote forms so an auto customer and a facilities director never have to read past each other's material.

Do I get service-area pages for the towns I drive to?

Yes. We build them around your real radius and mobile-install coverage, with genuine local context instead of the same paragraph with the town name swapped out.

Will you build a state tint law page?

For automotive shops, almost always. It's usually one of the highest-traffic pages a tint site can own. We write it for the state you actually work in, covering VLT limits, windshield strips, medical exemptions and enforcement.

Can you add a tint visualizer?

We can, where it genuinely helps someone picture the result on their vehicle. We won't bolt on a heavy third-party widget that slows the site down if it isn't earning its place.

Can you move my existing domain and email?

Yes. We inventory the existing URLs, map redirects where needed, and plan domain and email-record changes before cutover. We check key pages, forms and email settings afterward to reduce disruption. Search rankings and uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed through a migration.

Do I own the website?

Yes. The site, the domain and the content are yours. Digital Care is a service, not a hostage situation — if you leave, the site goes with you.

How long does it take?

About two weeks from the point your content is in — photos, film lines, service areas and anything you want said a specific way. The clock depends on how fast that comes back.

Do you handle ongoing SEO after launch?

Optional. Google Growth at $350/month covers the ongoing local search work — Google Business Profile, content, and monitoring. Plenty of shops launch and add it later once the site is producing.

Do you only work with tint shops in Delaware?

No. We're based in Harbeson, Delaware, and the tint work in the portfolio spans DC, Philadelphia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Oregon. The whole process runs remotely.
